@Matt Saying that "no matter how rich a man is, he is never
satisfied and always wants more" is much too generalized. Many
people have found that place where more starts to take away from
their lives rather then add too it, the concept of "enough" as
defined in the book Your Money or Your Life. Everybody is
different. Some would benefit from your savings ceiling idea,
others might prefer tithing, and unfortunately there are also those
who want to keep as much of their wealth to themselves as possible.

Per question 2 above: Scripture teaches that it will be very
difficult for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. What
is the answer then? I have an idea... Establish a "savings
ceiling". It has been proven over & over again, than no matter
how rich a man is, he is never satisfied & always wants more.
What that man must do is establish his own unique "savings ceiling"
where he only saves as much as he needs. Once each man determines
how much he needs to save, give 100% of the overage away. If you
are choosing to follow the Lord then give it to His church. After
all, the bible says that, "...Christ also love the church, and
gave himself for it;" Ephesians 5:25 This ceiling will be
different for each man, so plan accordingly; all the while
believing that the Lord will bless your efforts if they are rooted
& grounded in His Word!
