I thought this was the most awesome thing I have ever read about
saving. Or just to shorten that comment, this is the funniest thing
about saving.

Things I do to save Money: No cable or land line phone. Buy
groceries in bulk and use coupons when possible. And I scratch cook
ALOT. Only do wash once a week in at laundrymat and dry clothes on
line. No car, only bike and public transportation. Never buy new
when used will do just as well. Dumpster dive for recycleable
things like cans and household items. BARTER SERVICES. Have my own
garden . Get books and dvds from library. I live on 1100 a month
doing this and have never been happier.
