Great point. The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas Stanley was much
ballyhooed by cheapskates everywhere as proof that millionaires are
wildly successful basically because they are cheap. You do not hear
much mention of the later book- The Millionaire Mind which explores
the habits of America's deca-millionaires. An examination of much
richer people's habits reveals they think long term value and are
not "first cost sensitive".
