Most people know the big names in finance: Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman, and Jim Cramer.

Online, the big boys like JD Roth (getrichslowly), and Trent (thesimpledollar) dole out fantastic financial advice.

But who are the new personal finance kids on the block?

These bloggers are growing fast, and rightly so: their stuff is good. From discussions of investing and saving money to budgeting and credit cards, these 7 bloggers are strutting their stuff and attracting an audience.

1. Dough Roller – A blogger who’s made some financial mistakes at times. The 7 Habits of Wealth is just a peek into why this blog is grabbing subscribers right and left.

2. Fabulous Financials – “Single Ma” is hilarious. A finance blogger with some comedy, as well as personal stories. One of my favorite up and coming blogs. Her motto? “Work to achieve, not to acquire.” (That’s fabulous!)

3. Lazy Man and Money – “Lazy” is quite serious about finances. In fact, he’s shooting for a $2 million+ net worth. Lazy? Maybe not so much… He’s not afraid to go against the grain with posts like this one. Good Stuff.

4. Money Ning – Most posts are short and sweet. Who likes to read fluff anyway? Simple but solid advice like doing a job you’re good at makes Money Ning a pleasure to read each day.

5. Moolanomy – Pinyo over at Moolanomy consistently offers up solid posts on a variety of personal finance issues. From the abc’s of wealth building to peer-to-peer lending (woot!), his writing is fun and easily applicable.

6. Being Frugal – Posts like why we spend money on status show the grasp Lynnae has on finance and society. Insightful posts, plus the awesome pink links are delighting a lot of new readers in 2008.

7. Million Dollar Journey – This Canadian’s goal is to have a $1 million net worth by age 35. Not sure if that’s Canadian dollars, or USD… but hey, with the US dollar where it’s at, does it really matter? Investing dominates most posts, but everyone can benefit from 25 ways to save money.

Happy reading!
